My Creative Journey

My love of color has been the catalyst for me to play with fabric and make quilts for almost thirty years. I have made traditional quilts, modern quilts and wall hangings and enjoyed every step in the process – creating or selecting the design, finding the right assortment of fabric, cutting the fabric, sewing the pieces together, and finishing the piece by quilting the layers together.

A couple of years ago watercolor painting called out to me and I began my journey of learning how to paint. Most recently, I have been using acrylic paints and collage, which is prompting me to explore working with mixed media. I am very much at the beginning of this chapter in my creative journey and am eager to explore the mysteries that await me as I continue to play with color.

Below are samples of my art over the years, starting with my most recent works.
